Yes it is true, Now you can run all of the famous Android Apps on your Windows Pc. Including Windows 7 and also Windows Xp. We have already seen  How to Run Android Apps on Windows 7 on our previous post[...].

Well what is new here is that now you can use BloueStacks App Player also on windows XP to.

As you know BloueStacks App Player, Named Best Software at CES 2012, the App Player allows you to play the same Android apps you might enjoy on your smartphone or tablet full-screen on your desktop PC.

Undoubtedly delighting a lot of fans, BlueStacks App Player has finally been kicked out of its alpha stage. Users can now download the beta-1 edition of this software [Download Link on Bottom of the post], decked with some more attributes.

Improving a lot from the Alpha version that was made available last year, the current beta allows you to play even the most graphic-intensive Android games on your PC, thanks to the in-built hardware graphics acceleration.

Best part i liked about new beta edition is that Using the company's LayerCake technology, BlueStack beta is basically converting the ARM compatible Android apps to run on x86 platform and that too with a great efficiency. Or simply it means Now the software is compatible with Vista and windows7 and Windows XP also. The earlier version (alpha) only compatible with  Windows7 PC’s and Windows8.
Users will also have access to GetJar, 1Mobile, and Amazon to get more Android apps and games within the App Player itself. So apps will be downloaded by the software and install with in it.
Company has also partnered with developers of Fruit Ninja, SliceIt, Nook, Townsmen, Evernote, Defender and StumbleUpon to pre-load their apps on the beta version of BlueStacks App Player. It uses PC's graphics card to run graphic intensive apps/games or replicates accelerometer input for the apps via mouse interactions or arrow keys.

Here is another cool thing i liked is that  rather than buying the paid PC version of Angry Birds Space And Fruit Ninja, you can now just grab the free ad-supported Android version and play it on your Windows PC. Wow…. Great. :-)

  6. Yes @98755bfa0a9bec28e1847df2d09672e3:disqus BlueStacks-splitinstaller-native.exe is the new file name. But remember Actual Software is around 60 MB +. First it will copy all the installing data in your computer and then the installer will download runtime data. So a working Internet connection is required.

You need to have a graphic card of at least Intel 4 Chipset family with video memory of 1GB otherwise you will have to do with a lower graphic power installation of BlueStacks and as a result many of the gaming apps won't run on your PC.
    Hope this helps.

  12. Vishnu,

Is there a way to install without upgrading graphics card? I am having the same issue but I would still like to install ASAP. I would have to purchase an external graphics card since my chipset is embedded into the motherboard. I dont care about how good the graphics are I would just like to play on my pc. Thanks

  13. As far as my knowledge the App it self need graphics card to run. I prefer the best option to ask directly to BlueStacks Help Forum employees about this , Here is the form link

  14. Hi @shimht20 ,
According to Bluestack Support - The app Player can bee installed without Graphics Card, But it is require to install games & some apps
which requires most amount of graphics. In my case i have a ASUS motherboard with 1GB Intel Graphics card, So The APP player was installed without an hitch. But i tried it on another PC it is
Sowing Installing Error. So i Think You need to have at lest 512MB graphics card to run Bluestack App Player.

  24. Hi Ritesh,
Windows will give you this error if you try to run any application that requires the ".NET Framework" to run, but your computer does not have ".NET Framework" installed.

To fix it, just install the .NET Framework from Microsoft:

  28. Is there different no brainer, easy to use program designed to do the same thing as this "Blue Stacks" does, or perhaps a version of this "Blue Stacks" brand available for Windows 7 and also compatible with my "Intel (R) 82945G Express Chipset Family" video card? During my instillation attempt of the "Blue Stacks" software, the process was interrupted with an pop-up window displaying this message: "Error 25000.BlueStacks currently doesn't recognize your graphics card, it is possible your Graphics Drivers may need to be updated. Please update them and try installing again." Okay, so I checked for updated drivers and was returned with a message stating my V.C. drivers are installed, and up to date with the current version available. So that's where I am with the whole Play Apps. on PC deal and I'd really like to be able to do it if there is some program compatible with my hardware and some one reading this that knows what it is and would be willing to take my "non tech.geek" version brain by the grey matter and explain to me step by step just how I can. Well , that would be a super nice thing for you to do, and that of which I'd greatly appreciate. Thanks,
